The view from Ash Ridge is great at any time of year, but in the Winter, when the trees are dormant and the leaves are on the ground, the prospect from our hill is spectacular. Add a fresh coat of snow to the surrounding countryside and you'll think you died and went to Heaven! Like many places in the Hocking Hills, part of our driveway is long, winding, and gravel (part is blacktop/asphalt), and while we do our best to keep it maintained/plowed and totally free of snow and ice, sometimes we just can't keep pace with Old Man Winter! If you have a 4 wheel drive vehicle and do encounter winter weather while on your stay here, you shouldn't have difficulty getting to and from your cabin. If you do not have a 4wd vehicle, we may not always be available to help you to and from your cabin in case of winter weather, but we will do our best to help you when we can.
